Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller both attended the same high school; Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They both grew up in Pittsburgh, Mac Miller grew up in the Point Breeze area of Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Natives were both signed to the same label Rostrum.
Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa first collaborated on ‘Cruise Control’ which was on Mac Miller’s third mixtape ‘The High Life’ released on December 16, 2009. Wiz Khalifa titled his tenth mixtape after the high school ‘Taylor Allderdice.’
When Mac Miller passed away, Pittsburgh Public Schools issued a ‘statement of sorrow’ on his death. Rest in Peace to Mac Miller.
