Back in March, Hit-Boy previewed a track with Nipsey and Big Sean. Hit-Boy confirmed the song will be on Sean’s fifth album, Detroit 2. “Deep Reverence” is now available, featuring Nipsey Hussle, with production from Hit-Boy.

“Look, fuck rap, I’m a street legend. Block love me with a deep reverence,” Nipsey starts the song.

Since Sunday (August 23), the rollout for Sean’s album has began. He announced that the recording process is done and he’s moved into the mixing portion of the process. He announced the album will be arriving next Friday, September 4th.

“Deep Reverence” finds Sean speaking about his life story and how God is a great author. He also touches anxiety, what truly matter, all while putting it into rap.

Judging from the sound of this track, it doesn’t appear that Sean will be short of words on the forthcoming album.
