50 Cent’s tour is a big success

50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour proves the mogul is still a formidable force when it comes to selling out tour dates. Touring Data reported on Thursday (March 28) that from the 71 out of 103 dates that have already been executed, the tour pulled in $84m.

If the remaining 32 stops maintain the trend of selling an average of 13k tickets per show at an average of $90.27, the pilgrimage would gross a total of $122.6m. This will place it among the top grossing hip hop tours like Jay-Z & Beyoncés On The Run II tour ($253m), as well as Drake’s ongoing It’s All Blur ($189m) and is still expected to earn more from the remaining dates.
