In the late 80’s and early 90’s, Diddy—who created his signature dance, the Diddy Bop when he was still known as Puff Daddy— used to be a backup dancer for Big Daddy Kane and Heavy D. Diddy also danced in the Fine Young Cannibals’ 1989 music video for I’m Not the Man I Used to Be and Father MC’s 1990 music video for Treat Them Like They Want To Be Treated. In 1992, Diddy did backup dancing for Heavy D and The Boyz when they performed ‘You Can’t See What I Can See’ on In Living Color. Diddy was also on that stage with 2pac, Flavor Flav, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez, Rosie Perez, and Damon Wayans.
