3 Stacks Contributes Unreleased Track to Aid Los Angeles Artists and Families

The Los Angeles area continues to suffer from devastating wildfires, with lives lost, homes destroyed, and thousands forced to evacuate. As the fires rage on, many in the music community have come together to provide aid, including Andre 3000. The rapper, known for his contributions to hip hop as one-half of OutKast, is among more than 100 musicians who have offered unreleased material to support wildfire relief efforts.

Andre 3000’s contribution can be found on Staying: Leaving Records Aid to Artists Impacted by the Los Angeles Wildfires, a 98-song compilation available exclusively on Bandcamp. The project features tracks from various artists, with all proceeds going toward relief efforts. Half of the funds will be directed to “Los Angeles artists and music colleagues in need,” while the other half will support “displaced Black families and communities impacted by the fires.”

The project is available in multiple formats, including vinyl ($40), cassette ($35), and digital copies ($15). Emmett Shoemaker of Leaving Records emphasized the importance of ethical contributions, urging fans to support those affected by the fires. This generous initiative is a testament to the power of music to bring people together during times of crisis.
