Harlem and Miami linked up once A$AP Rocky and SpaceGhostPurrp began their merge into a brotherhood. Raider Klan and the ASAP Mob was a sight to witness. The bond wouldn’t last into 2012, as they begin to beef with one another. There are two sides of the story that linger: SGP’s side and Rocky’s side. Nonetheless, the two made great, music landscape-changing music.

In a recent interview with Kerwin Frost, Rocky discussed his relationship with SpaceGhostPurrp and how it soured in 2012. Despite the differences, Rocky credits SGP and ASAP Ty Beats for teaching him how to make beats.

“SpaceGhostPurrp and Ty Beats taught me how to produce in 2011. Those were the first n***as that taught me how to make beats. These is facts. I’ll admit this on camera, bro,” Rocky said to Kerwin.” “But the thing is, he came and told n***as he taught me how to rap, how to dress, he taught me how to swag and it’s like bro, I didn’t meet you until I was lit n***a. “Pesos.” I met you after that video came out. [SGP] lived with us for six months. Don’t make it seem like it’s some sh*t it’s not, you know?”

Together, Rocky and Purrp made songs like “Pretty Flacko,” “Keep It G,” and “Purple Swag”
