Chris Brown’s album predicted to miss out on the top of the charts
Chris Brown released his first album in three years, Breezy, on Friday, the same day Lil Durk dropped 7220 deluxe. According to HITS Daily Double, Breezy is on pace to sell 60-70k units in the first week, which will see him losing the number one spot contest to Lil Durk and Country singer Luke Combs, who’re both projected to move 65-75k units.
Breezy is Chris Brown’s tenth studio album and follows up 2019’s Indigo. The 23-track project was stacked with features from Lil Durk, Capella Grey, Fivio Foreign, Lil Wayne, Yung Bleu, Lil Baby, Wizkid, H.E.R., Bryson Tiller, Ella Mai, EST Gee, Jack Harlow, Blxst and Tory Lanez.
Durk’s 7220 deluxe came with 14 songs with features from Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee, Doodie Lo, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Ella Mai. The standard version of the album was released in March with Future, Gunna, Summer Walker, and Morgan Wallen as guest appearances. It debuted atop Billboard 200 earning 120k units in the first week.
