Atlanta rapper OG Maco is currently fighting for his life at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following a reported suicide attempt, according to ongoing day-to-day manager Poppa Perc, who spoke with AllHipHop.
Responding to the same call for emergency services on Thursday morning (December 12) by a neighbor who heard gunfire, OG Maco confirmed that he shot himself in the head.
“Honestly, I thought he was dead when I first saw him,” shared his manager. “We were about to rebrand and drop [new music] under a whole new alias. We need everyone’s prayers.”
He added grimly, “But don’t get your hopes up. We don’t have too much information. They won’t even let us come to the hospital.”
Angry, OG Maco is, according to reports, also in the state on life-support as doctors fight fiercely and ceaselessly to save his life. As it stands, this is a developing story.
