Lil Yachty doesn’t like how the system handled Kodak Black’s case. In his opinion, he thinks Kodak’s sentence is too harsh and he recently called out former president Donald Trump, asking him to commute the Florida rhymer. Boat recently went on Twitter to express his wish to Trump.
“Hey @realDonaldTrump my friend @KodakBlack1k deserves to be commuted. The system punished him way to hard for a paperwork crime #freekodak” pleaded Yachty.
Yak was arrested in 2019 after trying to cross the Canadian border to New York. He was found with firearms that he bought using falsified paperwork. He was later sentenced to nearly 4 years (46 months) in jail after pleading guilty. He is expected to come home on November 3rd, 2022.
