Couple shares love, family, and growing pains in new docuseries
Nelly and Ashanti are giving fans a look into their life together. Their new reality show, We Belong Together, premieres June 26 on Peacock.
The eight-episode series follows their romance and family life. It covers their reunion, having a baby, and learning to co-parent. Viewers will see them deal with moving, relationship growth, and parenting styles.
The couple rekindled their relationship two years ago. They welcomed their first child, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, in July 2024. They also got secretly married that year.
Ashanti revealed Nelly named their son. He combined meaning with a tribute to her father. Kareem means “generous, noble, and dignified,” and Kenkaide honors Ashanti’s dad.
The pair are now expecting baby number two. On the red carpet at the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards, Ashanti said, “Let’s go!” when asked about more kids. She added, “Looking at my baby’s face, I want one or two more!”
Nelly reacted with humor but seemed less eager than Ashanti.
Both stars are producers of the show. This marks their first time in reality TV. Fans can expect love, laughter, and real-life drama.
