Tory Lanez, currently serving an incarceration of 10 years impeding shooting Megan Thee Stallion, shared a rather shocking reflection on that infamous night during which that incident happened in a new song. On December 13, DDG released the signature of “Handling Business,” which has a verse featuring Lanez recorded in prison on a phone call.

In this song, he raps, “Only one thing I regret about that night is jumpin’ up outta that pool with Kylie,” totally relating to leaving a party with Kylie Jenner before getting shot at. Lanez, while serving time for the shooting of Megan, now continues to profess his innocence. That line adds to his more considerable frustrations about what contributed to his conviction.

It reproaches more for Lanez about the events that led up to that ill-fated night rather than merely as lamentation over the shooting itself. It strengthens his continuing tale about being wrongfully convicted.
