Kodak Black feels cheated after losing Song Of The Year BET award

Kodak Black and Latto were among those contesting for Song Of The Year trophy at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards with their hit records “Super Gremlin” and “Big Energy” respectively.

Despite Kodak’s optimism, Latto ended up carrying the day on Wednesday (October 5) after she won the award. Apparently, Yak isn’t sitting well with the loss.

The rapper went on social media in a series of posts blasting BET for not giving him what he thinks he deserves. He cited women empowerment initiative as being the reason Latto carried the trophy home.

“Everyone Needa Boycott @Connieorlando & @BET !” he wrote besides a photo of BET’s Connie Orlando. “Y’all Lame Af & Y’all Not Really For The People Fr ! BET WATERED DOWN !!! Y’all So Lame And Out Of Touch ! Y’all Definitely Not A Creditable Show !!!

He added, “I Called It Out A Few Weeks Ago ! Ain’t No Way They Gone Let No MF Kodak Win A Dam Award Even If The Card Is Right In Front Of Them ! The Whole Point Of Everything Was Bout Woman Empowerment ! The Females Been Crying All Year Bout It ! @connieorlando Gave All Females Awards If They Deserved It Or Not !”
