Kodak Black has Allegedly Recorded Over 150 Tracks in two Months

Share

Kodak Black has recorded a lot of music since being home from his prison sentence

Ever since Kodak Black became a free man after serving nearly a 2-year prison bid, he has been locked in the studio putting in hard work. A close source within his circle has alleged that The Finesse Kid has recorded 167 songs since he was released from prison two months ago. If the records are divided into 11-track albums (i.e. Bill Israel), then Kodak would be sitting on 15 albums worth of material.

The 23-year-old, multi-platinum-selling artist, is obviously gearing up to release his first post-prison album; it will only be fair to his fans. The rapper, whose legal name is Bill Capri and who was raised in the Pompano Beach area in Miami, with the help of his team released his third studio Bill Israel in November last year while behind bars. It isn’t hard to understand that the “ZeZe” artist couldn’t properly promote the 11-track effort from prison, and consequently the album wasn’t as successful as his previous works despite guest appearances from the likes of Gucci Mane, Lil Yachty, Tory Lanez, and more. It debuted at No. 42 on Hot 200 with 16,000 units sold in the first week of its release.

Comparing Bill Israel to Yak’s previous outputs, the rapper’s sophomore album Dying to Live from 2018 premiered at the top of the chart selling 89,000 units in the first week. His debut body of work Painting Pictures arrived at No. 3 in 2017, selling 71,000 units in the first week.
