Lil Wayne was once scolded by Stevie Wonder for talking during his piano performance after arriving to a party late.

Lil Wayne revealed this during a 2013 interview with Mass Appeal when asked Marvin Gaye or Stevie Wonder. According to Wayne, he walked into a party in the club and Stevie Wonder was playing the piano and he told everyone to be quiet. “I didn’t know, i just walked in and he went off on me, like ‘shut up! whoever that is shut up!'” Lil Wayne says.

Stevie Wonder scolded Lil Wayne again that same year over his Emmett Till lyric on Future’s Karate Chop remix.
