Nelly and Ashanti’s relationship, wedding, and first child will be featured in an upcoming docuseries on Peacock
Nelly and Ashanti’s journey from getting back together to being married parents will feature in a new docuseries that will soon be released on Peacock. The show, as per Deadline, has been filming over the last few months already and has great promises to bring you closer to the audience as it goes about documenting all things wedding and the birth of their first child.
Critical Content, the creators behind Catfish, produced the series as her first foray into reality TV, while Nelly is no stranger following his starring role in BET’s Nellyville in 2014. Though this announcement has been made without comment from both, both Nelly and Ashanti are also listed among the producers.
Their son was born in July 2024 and is called Kareem Kenkaide Hayes. According to reports, Ashanti, who is 44 years old, is on the way to expecting their second child. Those are unverified claims; however, Nelly and Ashanti always kept the news of their union and first baby private before announcing it to the public.
Fans are looking forward to the much-anticipated docuseries that will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of “Body On Me” collaborators in embracing marriage, parenthood, and their ever-evolving love story. No untitled series release date is yet announced.
