Live Nation’s motion to dismiss Drakeo’s stabbing suit turned down

Drakeo The Ruler stabbing lawsuit against Live Nation to move forward as judge rejects motion to have it dismissed. According to the Rolling Stone, during a Wednesday (January 11) hearing in a Los Angeles court, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Yolando Orozco ruled that Drakeo’s brother Devante Caldwell aka Ralfy the Plug doesn’t have to prove that a “prior similar” incident had happened during a Live Nation concert.

“The ruling represents the court’s recognition of Live Nation’s and the other defendants’ role in the injustice suffered by Drakeo, his family, and friends. We are one step closer to providing justice and closure to this horrific experience,” Drakeo’s attorney Jovan Blacknell said on Thursday.

Drakeo The Ruler was fatally stabbed in December 2021 at backstage of Banc of California Stadium in L.A.’s Exposition Park.
