Fif wins an initial victory in lawsuit against plastic surgery company
50 Cent’s lawsuit against Angela Kogan and her enterprises Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa is to move forward. Fif sued Kogan and her businesses for using a pic he took at their offices earlier on to promote their penis enhancement services, which suggested that the rapper had undergone a procedure. Kogan fought back claiming that Fif was a client and allowed the use of the photo as payment. She added that she shared the pic to appreciate 50 for visiting their headquarters.
According Billboard, Judge Robert N. Scola refused to dismiss the suit and rulled that Fif’s argument is valid. “As the proverbial saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words,” Scola stated. “This one in particular depicts a worldwide celebrity next to Kogan with MedSpa’s name repeated all throughout the background. The promotional value is evident.”
He continued, “Read in the light most favorable to Jackson, the defendants’ ‘thanks’ serves as a humblebrag. It is self-promotion,”
