André 3000 doesn’t engage with the wider social community comfortably, so his social media accounts aren’t for interaction.
Speaking to Meta’s Alvin Bowles at Cannes Lion International Creativity Festival in France, the OutKast rapper explained that he only has an IG account so that noone else would impersonate him.
“I’ve never had a Facebook account,” he explained, per The Drum. “I only have Instagram to prevent people from stealing my name, but I’ve never posted anything.”
