Ashanti discusses the possibility of getting back together with Nelly
Nelly and Ashanti sparked a lot of suspicion on December 4 when they got bodily onstage while performing their 2008 smash “Body On Me” at the Power 98.3 and Power 96.1‘s “Under The Mistletoe” concert in Glendale, Arizona, leading fans to think the two might be getting back together.
Speaking to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ashanti cleared the air. “I saw a lot of comments,” she revealed. “My reaction was ‘Wow’, you know? It was a lot of comments and a lot of people wanting that. What I will say is we’re in a better place, because before it was like [*makes punching movements] but, you know, we’re cool now… We had some conversations so it was cool.”
Nelly and Ashanti dated in the 2000s and 2010s, and broke up in 2014.
