Boosie says he has no problems with Plies
Boosie Badazz sets the record straight concerning his long rumored beef with Florida rapper Plies. Recently speaking to DJ Vlad, Boosie explained that there are no hostilities between him and Plies, adding that outside forces tried to instigate the beef.
“Everybody thought that shit happened with me and Plies, but it didn’t,” he said. “They held that shit that Boosie and Plies were beefing all the way until I went to prison. They put Boosie and Plies against each other. I had nothing to do with it.”
Word about the two rappers beefing started hitting the streets in 2006 after gunfire erupted at Club 238, where both of them were present.
“I was telling the promoter it was time for me to go on,” Boosie explained. “When people in they home state, they gotta do their thing. I guess they turned off his music.”
Plies and a number of his associates were arrested in connection to the shooting. Although Plies was released on probation, his brother was handed a three-year prison sentence and was let off in 2009.
