Denzel gave Drizzy an advice that sticked in his head
Denzel Washington once met Drake when the Toronto rapper was a kid, but the famed actor forgot about the encounter until he ran into the rap star again around a decade later. Recently speaking to Good Morning America while marking the opening of the 5000th location of Boys and Girls Club, Denzel recalled how Drizzy later on reminded him of the meeting and explained how he’d never forget what The Equalizer star told him.
“I met a kid in Toronto who came up and was fascinated because I was this star and he wanted to talk to me and he couldn’t believe that he met me,” Denzel recounted.
“Well, 10, 15 years later he came up and he said, ‘You don’t remember when you met me.’ I said, ‘No.’ His name is Drake and he said, ‘What I said to him he never forgot,” he added.
