Eric B. & Rakim bear no hard feelings following Rock Hall of Fame snub
Eric B. & Rakim missed out on this year’s Rock Hall of Fame, again, but they aren’t mad about it. In February, the duo was nominated for induction but it was revealed this week that they didn’t attract enough votes.
“Congratulations to the diverse group of artists inducted into the Rock Hall this year,” Eric & Rakim said in a message to TMZ. “Seeing Tribe and Mary on the list besides Cher, Ozzy, Kool and the Gang and all of the other icons shows how inclusive the institution has become. Keep voting … we’ll join you soon!”
Although the two failed to secure the induction, Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called The Quest as well as Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang and Ozzy Osbourne will be awarded the honor.
