Jim Jones Previews Harlem-Themed Remix After Cam’ron Accuses Him of Not Being From Harlem

Capo Teases Harlem Remix Featuring Juelz Santana, Vado, and More Amid Feud With Cam’ron

Jim Jones is gearing up to release a remix for his Harlem-themed track “This Sh!t Still In Harlem,” featuring Juelz Santana, Vado, Dave East, and 2gs Like Gucci. While the remix announcement came on Tuesday (January 14), many fans saw it as a response to recent comments from his former friend-turned-rival, Cam’ron.

Cam’ron, during a heated discussion on his podcast It Is What It Is, accused Jones of not being from Harlem, claiming that Jim hails from the Bronx. He also ridiculed Jones for not growing up with him and allegedly “fanning out” to join the Dipset clique. This sparked a fierce rebuttal from Jones, who took to Instagram, sharing a snippet of his song and stating, “I said what I said after they laugh at the lies, the truth still hurts.”

Jones addressed various criticisms related to his ties with incarcerated associates and his rise in the rap game. He also seemingly responded to Cam’s comments about Ma$e teaching him to rap, proudly declaring, “You n-ggas taught me how to rap, and now I’m platinum.” The ongoing beef continues to heat up as both sides trade barbs in public.
