Jury selection in Thug RICO case begins at a Fulton County courthouse
As the trial in the Young Thug RICO case is set to start, jury selection began on Wednesday (January 4) at a Fulton County courthouse, Fox 5 Atlanta reports. The trial will continue while the rapper remains detained as he’s been denied bond several times.
In the RICO sweep that involved 28 alleged YSL gang members including Gunna, Thugger’s charges were reduced this week from 65 counts to 8. The charges include conspiracy to violate the R.I.C.O. act, two counts of participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of both marijuana and codeine with intent to distribute.
