Kendrick Lamar is competing for the Grammys Album of the Year with ‘Mr. Morale’

Kendrick Lamar earns a new Grammys status as he becomes the first artist in Grammys history to have four consecutive albums nominated for the Album of the Year Award. According to Complex, this is after his album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers was nominated for the award at the 2022 Grammys.

The California lyrist’s last three lead studio albums, which all earned the nomination, include: good, kid m.A.A.d city, To Pimp A Butterfly, and DAMN.

Other albums that have been nominated for the 2022 Grammys Album Of The Year Award consist of Harry Styles’s Harry’s House, Lizzo’s Special, Carlile’s In These Silent Days, Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous, and more.
