Kendrick Lamar Makes History Again as “Not Like Us” Hits One Year on Billboard Hot 100

K-Dot also breaks records with SZA collab “Luther” and highest-grossing Black solo show ever

Kendrick Lamar continues his historic run, as his blistering diss track “Not Like Us” has now spent a full year—52 consecutive weeks—on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the first rap song in history to achieve the feat.

Released in May 2024 during his headline-making feud with Drake, the track remains a cultural juggernaut and currently sits at No. 22, bolstered by strong streaming numbers and continued radio play. No other Hip Hop song has spent as long on the chart.

In addition to that milestone, Lamar’s chart dominance continues with his SZA collaboration “Luther,” which has now topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 straight weeks. It joins a rare club of just 15 songs to do so and is officially the longest-running No. 1 Hip Hop track in history.

Kendrick’s record-breaking streak isn’t confined to music charts. On April 26, his Grand National Tour with SZA set a new benchmark at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, grossing $11.822 million—now the highest-grossing show by a Black solo artist ever, surpassing The Weeknd’s 2022 SoFi Stadium record.

As Kendrick continues to redefine rap superstardom, the milestones keep piling up.
