Latto seemingly goes after Nicki in latest song
It looks like Latto still has smoke for Nicki Minaj. In a new song released on Friday (April 21), Latto seemingly lyrically assaults the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” rapper. On the song titled “Put It On Da Floor,” Latto spits: “Bitches acting like they running shit, they really ran through,” adding, “She thought I would kiss her ass, she mustn’t have took her meds.”
She continues, “Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke/Bitch, you said it’s up, then put on the floor.”
Prior to the release of the song and during her performance at Coachella last weekend, Latto recited these lyrics and according to TMZ, she ended her set with the words: “Pussy hoe… Let a bitch know, we tired of the subtweets this year.”
Latto and Nicki found themselves at odds in 2022 when the latter’s “Super Freaky Girl” was left out in all Rap categories at the Grammys. Nicki questioned why Latto’s crossover hit “Big Energy” was not left out in the Rap categories.
