Weezy is proud of the hardwork he put into his career
Lil Wayne has rapped his way to becoming one of the hardest working MCs of all time. He has released dozens of mixtapes and albums, as well as hundreds of singles and features. Weezy was recently speaking to Missy Eliott on TV One’s Uncensored where the Supa Dupa Fly rapper asked him of his iconic 2007 run that saw him do 100 features.
“I was only acknowledged for 77 of them,” Wayne said of his 100-feature run in ’07. Elliot then added that Wayne’s dominance on radio was unmatched. “That was an amazing moment and an amazing time,” Tunechi continued. “I remember being able to get into my car and turn on the radio. I don’t care if I got the station wrong, could’ve switched to a pop station by mistake, I’m still on that motherf*cker!”
