Yachty says people often misunderstand him in interviews
Lil Yachty reveals his plans to quit interviews. In a tweet he shared this week, the Atlanta rapper said people frequently misinterpret his statements, prompting him to stay away from public conversations.
“I think ima all around just stop doing interviews, because the things I say are never understood as intended,” Lil Boat wrote.
The 25-year-old rapper released his fifth studio album, Let’s Start Here, in January via Motown and Quality Control. The psychedelic rock-influenced album opened at No. 9 on Billboard 200 after selling 36K equivalent album units.
