Published October 18, 2022 by

Nas and Hit-Boy continue to exploit their chemistry in the studio

Nas and Hit-Boy are not done combining forces on new music. On Tuesday (October 18), the two legends announced on Instagram that they’re unleashing King’s Disease 3 on November 11.

On his Hit-Boy-produced 9-song project, Magic, released in December 2021, Nas teased the third installment of the series. “I’m on offense every day until I see the love,” Nas rapped on the third song “Ugly.” “KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz.”

Hit-Boy later tweeted the lyrics adding, “(Nas) my brother is a maniac.”

While speaking with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1’s Rap Life Radio last year August, Nas discussed plans to unite with Hit-Boy for another album while referring to him as his Quincy Jones.

“He’s like my Quincy [Jones], you know what I mean?” the Queens icon said. “So I feel like the next thing I do, if I was to work with Hit-Boy on the next thing I do, I think that we might do something that is going to be magical.”

“I think what we have is magic,” he added. “I think if we do another one, I’m excited about that idea, but you know, we’re celebrating this one now.”

King’s Disease 2 was released in August 2021 via Mass Appeal Records. It included features from Eminem, EPMD, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, YG, Lauryn Hill, Charlie Wilson, Blxst, JaboodyDubs and Hit-Boy.
