Family and friends will gather at the massive State Farm Arena to honor late Takeoff
Late Migos rapper Takeoff will receive his final respect this Friday (November 11), at the State Farm Arena in his hometown of Atlanta. Take, who was part of the Grammy-winning group, will be honored at the Atlanta Hawks stadium which has a capacity of holding more than 20k people, according to TMZ.
Rev. Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church, who will conduct the funeral service, said the following of Take’s tragic death: “I was really sad to hear the news. Kirsnick has been a faithful member since he was ten years old. He and his family were active and avid supporters of the church and the community as a whole.”
Takeoff passed away November 1 after getting shot in the torso and head at a bowling ally in Houston. Police are still investigating the murder but haven’t issued a warrant yet.
