The Houston rapper accused Cuevas of launching a defamatory GoFundMe campaign, which claimed false things about him to alienate him from Truth.
The situation escalated last December when Trae revealed that his daughter was taken to an undisclosed location by Cuevas, despite him having full custody. Trae stated that he allowed Truth to visit her mother in August, but she vanished for four months after that. He further alleged that Cuevas moved their daughter between multiple homes to avoid being located.
Despite the heartache, Trae’s faith remained strong. On January 1, 2025, he received the long-awaited news that Truth had been found. Trae expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking the community and God for their support. Cuevas was arrested on child endangerment charges, marking the end of a painful chapter for Trae. Now, he can focus on rebuilding his relationship with Truth.
