Usher’s performance was a success

Usher’s performance on the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime show attracted more viewers than that of Rihanna in 2023 as well as Dr. Dre’s star studded performance with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent in 2022.

Samba TV reported that the “Yeah!” singer’s show had five percent more viewers than that of Riri. It was also watched in a million more households than that of Dr. Dre. The show was viewed in over 30m households, which translates to around 100m viewers per US standards.

Broadcasted on CBS, Nickelodeon and Paramount Plus, the Super Bowl game was watched by 123.4m people, the most in history. It also became the most viewed TV broadcast since the lunar landing in 1969.
