‘L.A. Check In’ Brings Together Music, Star Power, and Support for Fire Victims
will.i.am, D-Nice, and other celebrities are coming together to support the Los Angeles wildfire victims with a special livestream event called L.A. Check-In. Modeled after D-Nice’s Club Quarantine, this virtual dance party will feature uplifting DJ sets from D-Nice and DJ Hed, surprise celebrity appearances, and stories of resilience. The event aims to raise funds and provide vital updates on relief efforts, offering a sense of community and support for those affected by the devastating blazes.
The event will be broadcast live on Will.i.am’s YouTube channel and D-Nice’s Instagram page on Thursday, January 16, at 6 p.m. PT. With partnerships from the Annenberg Foundation, i.am Angel Foundation, and actor Etienne Maurice, L.A. Check In hopes to mobilize donations, encourage volunteering, and lift the spirits of Angelenos during this challenging time.
