The new doc will be a companion film to the previously released ‘Look At Me: XXXTENTACION’
XXXTentacion’s fans are soon going to get a new documentary titled, In His Own Words: XXXTENTACION, which will contain never-before-seen footage from a 2017 Fader interview. The Fader Films documentary, which is directed by Rob Stone and Lesley Steele, will premiere on the platform Altavod November 22.
X’s team shared a trailer for the film on his social media pages Tuesday (October 25), along with additional information about the forthcoming release.
“On November 22, 2022 we will release ‘In His Own Words: XXXTENTACION’, a bonus film that includes never before seen footage filmed by @FADERFilms prior to the creation of ‘Look At Me: XXXTENTACION’,” the detailed caption reads.
“In addition, ‘Look At Me: XXXTENTACION’ will officially be released for the first time internationally (outside of the US). To experience the films head over to Altavod.com for the pre-order and more details.”
The late Florida rapper’s mother and manager will also provide further insight on the film.
“Cleopatra, Solomon, and I watched the Fader-Jahseh one-on-one interview from 2017,” Rob Stone said about his experience watching the footage, according to Complex. “It was emotional, chilling, insightful, and tragic on a multitude of levels. It instantaneously brought us closer together. It feels only right to share it with his fans and the world, Jahseh in his own words.”
