Prosecutors say Thugger was handed Percocet pill by co-defendant
Young Thug was reportedly handed a Percocet pill by one of his co-defendants during a court session on Wednesday (January 18), prosecutors claim per WSB-TV. In a clip released by the authorities, the Atlanta rapper can be seen being given something by the co-defendant before a deputy immediately seizes it.
Thug’s lawyer Keith Adams said his client “had nothing to do with what went on in the courtroom on yesterday. One of the co-defendants on his way to the restroom attempted to pass something to Mr. Williams, who immediately turned it over to the deputy.”
Adams added that the Punk rapper had no idea what was handed to him. “He did not know. We don’t know what it is, did not know. It was turned over to a deputy right away.”
