Before Brooklyn rapper Sean Duval Price was famously known as Sean Price, he originally went by the moniker Ruckus (sometimes abbreviated as Ruck). He earned the nickname from being a member of the Brooklyn gang Decepticons.

Sean Price started rapping as half of the duo Heltah Skeltah along with his partner Rock. He was also a member of the Hip-Hop collective Boot Camp Clik.
