Tekashi Seeks $1 Million in Damages After Brutal Attack at Florida Gym

6ix9ine has filed a lawsuit against LA Fitness following a brutal attack he endured at one of their Florida locations in March 2023. According to documents obtained by TMZ on January 17, the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is seeking over $1 million in damages, claiming the gym failed to provide adequate security to prevent the assault.

In his lawsuit, 6ix9ine alleges that the gym staff was not properly trained in security protocols and failed to call the police immediately after the attack began. The damages he seeks cover physical pain, humiliation, medical expenses, loss of income, and a diminished quality of life.

The incident occurred when 6ix9ine was attacked by a group of men in the sauna. Despite his attempts to fight back, the rapper was outnumbered and severely beaten before escaping. He did not have security with him at the time. Gym staff eventually called the police, and 6ix9ine was transported to a hospital.

Footage of the assault, which surfaced on Instagram, shows 6ix9ine being punched and kicked as one of the attackers taunts him. The attack was reportedly linked to 6ix9ine’s controversial history as a “snitch.” Three suspects were arrested shortly after the incident.

Yak and 6ix9ine have a new song out

Kodak Black was recruited by 6ix9ine on the song “Shaka Laka” that dropped last week. Unsurprisingly, Yak received backlash for working with the New York rapper who in the past, has famously faced snitching accusations.

During his set at Rolling Loud Miami on Friday (July 21), the rapper addressed the issue while shouting out 1090 Jake, who’s recently been all over the internet for sharing alleged paperwork of rappers who purportedly cooperated with the police.

“That’s why I salute 1090 Jake, for putting all these f**k n***as out there,” Kodak said to the crowd. “I got s**t to do, I got people to take care of, you heard me?”

6ix9ine’s lawyers are having problems with the rapper

6ix9ine’s lawyers from the Meloni & McCaffrey law firm told the U.S. District Judge Hector Gonzalez that they’re planning to quit legally representing the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, because he can’t be located or contacted, and hasn’t paid bills for months, according to Allhiphop.

“From June 2021 until March 2022, I had sporadic communications directly with Mr. Hernandez, and mainly communicated with him via texts,” attorney Robert Meloni said.

“There is now a total breakdown in communication between Mr. Hernandez and the Firm,” Meloni added. “Mr. Hernandez’s last communication with me took place in early March 2022 relating to one of the other litigations. Finally, I just learned that Mr. Hernandez changed his phone number, which he did not tell me himself. He did not provide me with his new mobile number.”

He continued, “Moreover, Mr. Hernandez, who has not made a payment to the firm since December 2021, has a substantial outstanding balance for this matter and four other litigations, and has not indicated an intent or ability to make a payment in the future.”

King Von Rips Akon For Collaborating With 6ix9ine

King Von is readying to drop his third studio album Welcome To O’Block at midnight. Von has established his career on telling stories about his encounters in the streets in his raps. By now, almost everyone who knows the LeVon James rapper knows that he strictly adheres to the street cred. Clearly, Von doesn’t tolerate snitching or anyone who’s associated with snitches.

A couple of hours ago, King Von hoped on Twitter to clear the load off his chest about Akon working with 6ix9ine. “I’ll never forgive Akon for making that song with that rat ass nigga @Akon yo Usain Bolt ass.” wrote the Chicago Drill rapper.

6ix9ine was featured on the remix to Akon’s 2004 breakout hit ‘Locked Up’ that was included on Tekashi’s ‘Tattle Tales’ album. Akon even went on to defend Tekashi in numerous interviews, claiming the rainbow-hared rapper made a good choice. Evidently, a bigger part of the hip-hop community was not pleased by 6ix9ine’s move, but he still has a few buddies defending his decision to tell.

Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj’s platinum hit “FEFE”’s beat was intended for Drake

Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj’s “FEFE” collaboration was totally unpredictable yet, went triple platinum and secured a spot in the Top 5 of the Hot 100 chart. How bizarre to think that the beat could’ve possibly belonged to Drake.

“I made the beat in the LA in my kitchen—on my kitchen table—and I thought it was, like, an anthem for Drake,” Murda told the host. “I sent it to Drake, got no response. I was, like, ‘Alright.’”

Murda Beatz produced the beat with Cubeatz, and says his friend insisted that he played the record for 6ix9ine. He admitted that he wasn’t a Tekashi fan but it was worth a try. The producer adds, “Then he pulled up, and then that’s one of the beats he was fucking with. We made ‘FEFE’ that night. And then Nicki really fucks with me, so then she somehow got on it … She felt like I was co-signing 6ix9ine so she got on the record. And that shit went huge … No one expected for that song to get that big.” “FEFE” landed Tekashi 6ix9ine his first #1 spot on the Billboard on-demand streaming charts immediately following release.
