  • Pusha T Opens Up on Kanye West Fallout: ‘We Never Saw Eye to Eye’

Pusha T Opens Up on Kanye West Fallout: ‘We Never Saw Eye to Eye’

Pusha T has finally laid bare the reasons behind his fractured relationship with Kanye West, admitting the pair never truly connected beyond the music.

Speaking candidly on The New York Times’ Popcast, the Clipse rapper said, “We made great music. Outside of music, we’re nothing. Outside of that, his principles, his morals, his mindset — we don’t see eye to eye hardly ever and we never have.”

The former GOOD Music president added that while he always spoke his mind around Ye, the disconnect ran deeper: “I don’t even know if I ever held my tongue… But what you do with that information, in taking advice or perspective from me, that’s what you do. But I don’t regret any of it.”

In a recent GQ interview, Pusha was even more direct. “He knows I don’t think he’s a man. He knows it,” he said. “He’s showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people.”

The tension also spilled into the music, with Pusha seemingly taking aim at Ye on Clipse’s comeback single “Ace Trumpets” with the biting bar:

“Look at them, him and him, still waitin’ on Yeezy / I hope you got your squeegees / At your interviews, I just ki-ki.”

Their relationship officially deteriorated after Pusha’s departure from GOOD Music in 2022, following Kanye’s string of antisemitic outbursts.

Though West has yet to respond to these latest statements, his previous rants about former collaborators suggest more may come. As it stands, the once-powerful creative alliance between the two appears to be permanently severed.

  • Kanye West & King Combs Drop Surprise Album Never Stop Featuring North West & A Bold Message for Diddy

Kanye West & King Combs Drop Surprise Album Never Stop Featuring North West & A Bold Message for Diddy

West continues to stand by embattled mogul Diddy amid legal turmoil

Kanye West has once again shocked fans — this time with the surprise release of a collaborative album with King Combs, son of music mogul Diddy. The project, titled Never Stop, is executive produced by West and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The album opens with a guest appearance from Kanye’s daughter North West, marking her latest foray into music. One of the most talked-about tracks is “Diddy Free,” a defiant anthem featuring the line:
“N-ggas ain’t goin’ to sleep ’til we see Diddy free,”
    — a refrain repeated throughout the song, signaling West and King Combs’ continued support for the embattled Bad Boy Records founder.

Though Never Stop had been rumored for months, neither West nor Combs heavily promoted it ahead of release, and Diddy himself has yet to comment.

Kanye West has remained one of Diddy’s most vocal defenders since allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking surfaced in 2023. In May, West publicly criticized former collaborator Kid Cudi for testifying against Diddy in court, writing on X:
“I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff… We need to not be locked in white systems. Praying for Puff and his family.”

West has also questioned the legitimacy of accusations made by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie, suggesting they were part of an extortion attempt.

With Never Stop, West appears to be doubling down on his loyalty to Diddy — and further cementing his reputation as one of music’s most polarizing and unpredictable figures.

  • Kanye West Salutes Anna Wintour Despite Vogue Fallout

Kanye West Salutes Anna Wintour Despite Vogue Fallout

Rapper Acknowledges Former Ally as Fashion Icon Steps Down

Kanye West has publicly paid tribute to Anna Wintour following her departure as editor-in-chief of Vogue after a 37-year reign — despite the pair’s strained professional ties in recent years.

On his X (formerly Twitter) account, West shared a photo of himself with Wintour at a fashion show, captioned: “Thank you Anna for your support and friendship for so many years 🐐.” The gesture surprised many, considering Vogue cut ties with the rapper in 2022 over his controversial antisemitic remarks.

Wintour had once been one of West’s key supporters in the fashion world, even donning Yeezy sunglasses at one point. She also played a behind-the-scenes role in defusing a public clash between West and Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who had condemned West’s “White Lives Matter” apparel as harmful.

Though the fallout led to Vogue affirming its support for Karefa-Johnson and denouncing West’s behavior, the rapper still appears to hold admiration for Wintour. In his tribute, West seemed to focus on their long-standing personal rapport, setting aside the past controversies that fractured their professional relationship.

  • Kanye West Could Be Siding with Jim Jones in Cam’ron Beef

Kanye West Could Be Siding with Jim Jones in Cam’ron Beef

Yeezy’s Tokyo meetup with Jones adds fuel to the Dipset drama

Kanye West seemingly chose a side in the ongoing feud between his former Roc-A-Fella labelmates, Cam’ron and Jim Jones. The longtime friends, now rivals, have been trading shots in a public beef that stretches back years, and Kanye’s recent actions suggest he’s backing Jones.

While in Tokyo this past weekend, Kanye and Jim were spotted together at the club, sharing music, fashion, and even a post on social media. Jones shared a photo with Kanye, praising the rapper’s upcoming album Bully, calling it a potential “big problem” when released. He also dubbed Kanye “THE REAL BILLY GOAT” in a nod to his influence.

Kanye, in turn, posted a photo of a Dipset chain draped over a jacket, signaling his allegiance with Jones and the Dipset crew. The G.O.O.D. The music mogul was seen rocking the chain during their club outing, further fueling speculation about his support for Capo in this ongoing feud.

Meanwhile, Cam’ron has not publicly commented on Kanye’s latest move but has previously criticized Kanye’s public behavior, especially in 2023 when he called Kanye “crazy when it’s convenient.” Despite the tension, Cam’ron has made it clear he still has “love” for Kanye, although their relationship has had its ups and downs.

North West Raps in Japanese on FKA twigs’ New Song ‘Childlike Things’

Ye’s 10-year-old daughter makes her mark on FKA Twigs’ latest album

North West is showing off her musical talents once again, this time appearing on FKA Twigs’ new track “Childlike Things,” released on January 24. The 10-year-old daughter of Kanye West spits bars in Japanese on the song, which is featured on Twigs’ album EUSEXUA.

In her verse, North introduces herself as “North-chan,” rapping, “Hello / My name is North-chan / From California to Tokyo / Jesus, the King / Praise the Lord / Jesus is the one and only true God (You need to know).” The inclusion of Japanese adds a unique cultural twist to the track, which showcases North’s growing musical versatility.

This feature comes just months after North announced her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, a playful nod to her father’s iconic The College Dropout. At a Vultures 2 listening event last year, North revealed her upcoming project, sparking excitement from fans. She also made waves with her debut on her dad’s collaborative album Vultures 1, where she rapped on “Talking” alongside Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign.

With her talents already making waves, it seems North is ready to continue carving her path in music.

  • Kai Cenat and Kanye West Reconnect, Plan to Meet in Japan

Kai Cenat and Kanye West Reconnect, Plan to Meet in Japan

Kai and Ye’s past issues seem to be behind them as they gear up for an in-person meeting

Kai Cenat and Kanye West are back on good terms after a brief period of tension last year. Cenat, the popular livestreamer, revealed earlier this week that he’s been in regular contact with the rap icon and that a face-to-face meeting in Japan is likely soon.

During a recent stream, Cenat shared that the two have been speaking almost daily and that West has been highly responsive. “I think he’ll be open to a stream… it’s probably at 90 percent,” Cenat said, indicating that a future collaboration is possible. He also hinted at the pair possibly meeting in Japan, West’s new home base.

The reconciliation comes after an incident in March 2024, when West was upset over Cenat making fun of Yeezy clothes during a live stream. Cenat had poked fun at the fit of a pair of baggy Yeezy pants, which led to a heated exchange between the two. West criticized Cenat, accusing him of being controlled and not supporting his brand. However, the situation seems to have cooled off, as Cenat celebrated the renewed friendship by playing West’s 2007 hit “Good Life” during his stream.

Things appeared to have taken a positive turn in early January when Kanye posted an edited image on his Instagram Stories of a horse inside Cenat’s streaming studio, which surprised Cenat. The two even joked about the move, with Cenat admitting that he didn’t know the image was coming.

“I think I’m officially part of the rollout,” Cenat joked, referencing West’s upcoming album Bully.

Despite the past drama, Cenat now says the “beef is over” and has expressed his excitement about the future with Kanye, calling the interaction a brilliant move. With the tension behind them, it looks like the two may have a lot more collaborations ahead.

  • Ty Dolla $ign Confirms ‘Vultures 3’ and New Solo Album ‘Tycoon’ on the Way

Ty Dolla $ign Confirms ‘Vultures 3’ and New Solo Album ‘Tycoon’ on the Way

Pluto and Ty Dolla Are Dropping New Music in 2024

Ty Dolla $ign has provided an exciting update during Paris Fashion Week, confirming that the third installment of Vultures with Kanye West and his new solo album Tycoon is coming. In a brief video, Ty revealed, “Vultures 3 on the way, BULLY on the way and my new album, Tycoon, on the way. Let’s go.”

The highly anticipated Vultures 3 follows the release of Vultures 1 in February 2024, with the second installment, Vultures 2, arriving later that summer after some delays. Fans have eagerly awaited the third chapter, but updates on its release have been scarce until now.

As for Kanye West, he’s been busy working on his 11th solo project, BULLY. Kanye recently shared that his daughter, North, reignited his passion for music, inspiring him to return to his beat-making roots. He’s been working on the album using the ASR-10 sampler, even sharing moments of North creating her beats in the studio. The project will feature production from Kanye himself, with possible contributions from former collaborator Mike Dean.

Additionally, Ty Dolla $ign’s Tycoon will be his fourth studio album, following his 2020 project Featuring Ty Dolla $ign. With so much music in the works, it’s clear 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for both artists.

  • Kanye West Seeks “Wizards” to Join Yeezy’s AI Team Amid Backlash

Kanye West Seeks “Wizards” to Join Yeezy’s AI Team Amid Backlash

Ye doubles down on artificial intelligence ambitions despite controversy

Kanye West is not backing down from his vision for artificial intelligence in the creative space despite ongoing backlash surrounding his recent AI-generated videos. On January 20, the rapper-turned-entrepreneur announced that his Yeezy company is looking to recruit a team of AI engineers, film editors, architects, designers, and studio assistants. In his Instagram post, he made it clear that he’s looking for “WIZARDS ONLY” to help him push the boundaries of AI technology.

West’s bold new initiative comes after his controversial use of AI in his latest projects, signaling his commitment to integrating AI into his creative process in more significant ways. This move is part of a broader ambition, as Ye also revisited his “DROAM” plans to build a self-sustaining city in Los Angeles. Though his plans for DROAM have not gained much traction since their initial introduction, West remains undeterred in his pursuit of grandiose goals.

While fans are eager to hear new music, West hinted at two new albums for 2025: the third installment of his collaborative series VULTURES with Ty Dolla $ ign and a solo project titled Bully. Despite all the controversy and unfulfilled promises, Kanye’s loyal fanbase remains hopeful for his next moves, whether it’s in AI, music, or other ventures.
