    NoCap unveils tracklist for his upcoming album ‘Before I Disappear Again’

    Cap will drop his new album in ‘a few more days’

    NoCap is gearing up to treat his fans with a brand new album. On April 16, the Mobile, Alabama rapper took to Instagram to share the official tracklist for his upcoming full-length studio release, Before I Disappear Again.

    From the look of the tracklist, the project will boast guest appearances from D-Yani, Rylo Rodriguez, Quavo, Hunxho, Sleepy Hallow and Jessie Reyez. The post also included a photo of a pregnant woman’s belly with the following words written on it: “Give my daddy a few more days.”

    Back in March, the rapper announced that the album would arrive in April, on the same day he shared the tracklist.

    Rylo and NoCap’s new collab debuts on Hot 100

    Rylo Rodriguez scores his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as a solo artist, thanks to his new collaboration with fellow Mobile, Alabama rapper NoCap, “Thang For You.” The record, which was released in June as a single from Rylo’s new album, Been One, entered the chart at No. 96 this week (beginning on July 25).

    Across all credits, this is Rylo’s third and Cap’s first overall entry on the chart. Rylo previously entered the chart through his features on Est Gee’s “5500” along with Lil Baby, as well as Lil Baby’s “Cost To Be Alive.”

    Rylo, who is signed to Lil Baby’s 4PF, dropped his latest album earlier this month and it opened at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 with 35K equivalent album units sold in the first week.

    Rylo and NoCap are close friends and have worked together numerous, including on their 2019 joint project, Rogerville. They’ve previously teased the second installment of the project.

    NoCap’s new mixtape drops Friday

    Never Broke Again rapper NoCap reveals the tracklist for his upcoming mixtape, The Main Bird, which arrives Friday (December 16). The project is packed with seven songs with guest appearances from Rob49 and fellow Mobile, Alabama rapper Rylo Rodriguez. He also shared the official artwork for the project.

    Cap explained that the tape originally included 16 songs but had to cut them down due to sample-clearing issues that he couldn’t handle in time. However, the 24-year-old says his next album, KnowCap, is “coming soon” and will contain songs that didn’t make it to the mixtape because of sampling.

    “I had 16 songs on this tape for y’all but shit changed due to samples didn’t have enough time to clear so “KnowCap” the album coming soon🦅TMB will hold y’all until then,” the Mr. Crawford rapper wrote on Instagram.

    NoCap reveals the release date and artwork of ‘Mr. Crawford’ album

    The Backend Child, NoCap, says he’s “probably more excited about this album than y’all’’

    NoCap has been teasing his debut album, Mr. Crawford, for around a year now but he’s finally dropping the project towards the end of the month. On Monday (March 28), the Mobile, Alabama rapper posted on Instagram the album cover along with its release date of April 29.

    ‘’I’m probably more excited about this album than y’all,’’ Cap, who is signed to NBA Youngboy’s Never Broke Again label, wrote in the caption. “I keep making changes last minute switching songs cause I make new music everyday and I want this bitch perfect I come from ZERO I put my heart & soul into this shit can’t nothing stop me but the judge or the grave yard & not these bitch ass industry n***az I’ll forever stay true to myself cause dats how slim raised me.’’

    He added, “n***az I will give my last talk about me behind my back & I still wish them the best on life cause deep down inside they know who I really am MR.CRAWFORD. 4/29.’’

    NoCap reveals that ‘Mr. Crawford’ album is dropping this month

    NoCap originally planned to drop the album at the beginning of 2021


    Since Alabama rapper NoCap was released from jail in July 2021, he’s dropped a slew of singles including the quite popular “Vaccine (Falling Star),” “200 or Better,” and more to hold his fans over as he readies his debut album, Mr. Crawford.

    NoCap, 23, unveiled an Instagram post last week asking his 2 million followers for suggestions as to what date of this month he should drop the forthcoming album. “Mr.Crawford 1/?/22,” the Backend Child caption a photo of himself.

    The upcoming album will be among the first projects to release under his home label, NBA Youngboy’s Never Broke Again Inc, following their partnership with Motown Records in a distribution deal signed in the last quarter of last year.

    Just before he surrendered himself to the police in December 2020, Cap revealed that he would be dropping the album on top of the following year. But after spending the first six months of 2021 in jail for his hometown, Mobile shooting case, the album never materialized.

    “I don’t know how long ima be gone I just want to appreciate my family, fans & friends for rocking w/ me continue to do that while I’m away,” he wrote on Instagram at the time, announcing he was turning himself in. “I’m not gone promise y’all nothing because I kno the process of dropping a album is not over night but I’m most definitely pushing for the beginning of da year ‘Mr.Crawford The Album So Soon.”


    According to an Instagram story he shared in December last year, the Steel Human rapper revealed that he was 300 songs into the album and was trying to figure out how many records he should have on the project.

    NoCap is now a free man

    Mobile, Alabama, up-and-coming rapper NoCap is back outside after spending seven months in jail. The rapper on Friday (June 23) updated his Instagram page with a new pic, announcing that he’s officially a free man. “When You Important It’s Hard To Hide Im Back Doe,” he captioned the new pic, shot by Teezy, his photographer. 

    NoCap, real name Kobe Crawford, surrendered himself to the police on January 11. As per Mobile County Sheriff’s Office inmate database, Cap was being held for probation violation, it’s unclear what exactly he did that led to the charge. This was days after the “Overtime” rapper announced that he would turn himself in in 30 days.

    The 22-year old artist currently has an open case stemming from a 2019 shooting incident where the rapper allegedly opened fire into an occupied home. The rapper and the victim are said to have entered into an argument before shots were fired. 

    NoCap’s debut album, Mr. Crawford, had been in the works before he went to jail. Towards the end of 2020, the rapper announced the album and shared artwork, which is of course subject to change. The release date for the album is unknown, but it’s good to see NoCap back on the grind to finish it up.

    Alabama rapper NoCap is going through hard times right now. He recently announced on his Instagram that he has 30 days to turn himself in. The 22-year old rhymer also disclosed that one of his associates tested positive for Covid-19, while announcing that he is pushing for his album titled ‘Mr. Crawford’ to drop in January of next year.

    “I got 30 days to turn myself in & ma dukes tested positive for Covid this morning y’all pray 4 her,” the rapper wrote. “I don’t know how long ima be gone I just want to appreciate my family, fans & friends for rocking w/ me continue to do that while I’m away, I’m not gone promise y’all nothing because I kno the process of dropping a album is not over night but I’m most definitely pushing for the beginning of da year ‘Mr.Crawford The Album So Soon.” Wrote the ‘Steel Human’ rapper, captioning what looks like an album artwork.

    A year ago, it was reported that Cap was a wanted fugitive by Mobile police, but he then turned himself in shortly. He was accused of shooting into an occupied house. His sister allegedly entered into an altercation with two people, he then called his brother who reportedly pulled up and shot into the house that the two men ran into upon seeing him. He then fled with his sister.

    NoCap is dropping his debut album, very soon

    A few months after dropping his latest tape NoCap is ready to drop his debut album. It seems the 22 year old rapper is excited about his first studio album. He took to Twitter to share the news. “Mixtape After Mixtape, I’m Proud To Say My First Album Coming So Soon?️”

    NoCap is fresh off releasing his fifth mixtape Steel Human that arrived in July and peaked at number 31 on Hot 200 Chart. Cap, born in Mobile, Alabama, has been blessing his fans with singles since his last tape. Nevertheless, it’s always nice to get a freshly cooked body of work from one of your favorite rappers.

    NoCap, aka The Backend Child, started his rap journey in 2017, and already has five mixtapes under his belt. He released his debut project Neighborhood Hero in 2018, later the same year, he dropped Rogerville, a collaborative mixtape with fellow Mobile rapper Rylo Rodriguez. NoCap received a co-sign from NBA Youngboy and was consequently signed to Never Broke Again. Cap maintained the same energy in 2019 as he dropped two more mixtapes; The Backend Child and The Hood Dictionary before being sent to jail. Upon his release, the Radar rapper released Steel Human.
