Rick Ross Reunites With Pharrell on New Single “For The Money”: “This Is a Global Slapper”

Rozay calls upcoming Paris-shot release a “new level of creativity”

Rick Ross is officially back with a bang, linking once again with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams for a high-energy new single titled “For The Money.” Slated to drop on Friday, June 27, the track has already been previewed in a slick Paris-based visual teaser featuring both Ross and Pharrell suited up in luxury fashion.

In a video posted to social media, Rozay hyped up the collaboration with his trademark bravado:
“It’s finally official. Ricky Rozay this Friday, my new single, produced by Pharrell, for real… We dropping a straight international global slapper.”

    He continued:
“This right here is different. This will forever guarantee my name is set in stone. An elegant, classy affair. A fly, international record.”

The Miami mogul has previously teamed up with Pharrell on standout tracks like “Presidential” (from God Forgives, I Don’t), “MMG The World Is Ours,” and The Neptunes-produced “Get Down.”

While Ross has been relatively quiet on the music front lately, he’s kept busy with other ventures — including launching his own dental clinic in Atlanta earlier this year alongside celebrity dentist Dr. Mario Montoya. The clinic promises clients a “billion dollar smile,” and joins Rozay’s growing empire of business moves outside rap.

With “For The Money,” Rick Ross is signaling a return to high-end, international Hip Hop flair — and based on the early buzz, fans can expect nothing short of luxury and lyrical power when the track drops this week.

Rick Ross Facing $65K Tax Bill from Georgia Department of Revenue

Rozay reportedly owes nearly $65,000 in unpaid taxes from 2021

Rick Ross, the Maybach Music Group mogul, is reportedly under scrutiny by the Georgia Department of Revenue for unpaid taxes. According to In Touch, the state filed a tax execution against the rapper late last year, claiming that he owes $64,995.21 for the year 2021. The amount includes the original tax debt of $29,043 plus interest, collection fees, and additional charges.

The tax issue comes as Ross continues to make waves in the real estate world, owning notable properties, including a massive 109-room mansion in Fayetteville, Georgia, once owned by boxing legend Evander Holyfield. Additionally, he recently purchased a $35 million mansion on Miami’s Star Island, a neighborhood known for housing celebrities like Diddy.

In late December, Ross also expressed interest in a sprawling Atlanta estate formerly owned by Cardi B, who had publicly stated she was ready to part ways with the property. Cardi, who has been vocal about her dislike of living in Atlanta, had previously revealed her struggles with the city after relocating there in 2018.

Despite his ongoing real estate ventures, Ross’s unpaid taxes remain an issue that he will have to address with the state.

Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy Attend Trump’s First-Ever Crypto Ball

Unlikely guests at pro-Trump event, including Snoop, surprise fans with appearances

Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy were among the high-profile guests at the first-ever Crypto Ball, a star-studded party held to welcome the incoming administration of Donald Trump. The event took place on January 17 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., and was hosted by David Sacks, the Silicon Valley investor appointed by Trump as the “White House A.I. and Crypto Czar” last month.

The exclusive party, which cost attendees between $2,500 and $5,000, was media-free, but footage from the event surfaced showing Snoop Dogg proudly declaring, “They let a real Crip up in the Crypto Ball.” His attendance at a pro-Trump event raised eyebrows, especially given his strong criticism of artists who performed for Trump during his first inauguration in 2017.

Snoop’s shift in stance toward Trump occurred after the former president commuted the prison sentence of Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris in his final days in office. Snoop, who played a role in advocating for Harris’ release, expressed gratitude for Trump’s decision, signaling a more conciliatory relationship between the two.

Other artists, including Nelly, Rod Wave, Kodak Black, and Fivio Foreign, are also reportedly set to attend Trump-themed events surrounding the inauguration.
