    Tech N9ne started out as a member of Kansas City group Black Mafia

    Tech N9ne was a member of Kansas City groups called Black Mafia, 57th Street Rogue Dog Villians, Nnutthowze, & the Regime and K.A.B.O.S.H.

    Before Aaron Dontez Yates, was famously known as Tech N9ne, before he released his debut album The Calm Before the Storm in 1999, he was part of a group called ‘Black Mafia”, this was the first group he was in. He then joined a group called 57th Street Rogue Dog Villians, Nnutthowze, the Regime, and later K.A.B.O.S.H.

    The group “Black Mafia” was formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 1991. He would join a total of 5 different groups after.
