Pusha T Blasts Travis Scott Over Loyalty Issues: ‘He’s a Whore’

Clipse rapper accuses Travis of betrayal and siding with Drake in Pharrell feud

Pusha T has unleashed a scathing attack on Travis Scott, calling the Houston rapper a “whore” and accusing him of disloyalty, manipulation, and shady behavior within the industry.

In a new GQ interview, Pusha confirmed that his controversial bars on Clipse’s song “So Be It” weren’t aimed at Kanye West, as many believed, but rather at his former GOOD Music labelmate, Travis Scott. The tension stems from Scott’s involvement in Drake’s “Meltdown,” where Drake took aim at Pharrell Williams — Pusha’s longtime friend and collaborator.

According to Pusha, the drama started in Paris: “We were in Pharrell’s studio, and Travis came through all smiles. He wanted to play us his new album, filming everything… but conveniently left out Drake’s verse.” A week later, Pusha heard the diss — and felt blindsided.

“He’s done this before,” Pusha said, referencing “Sicko Mode,” where Drake dissed Kanye West. “He has no picks. He’ll do this with anybody. He’s a whore.”

Pusha didn’t hold back, criticizing Scott’s loyalty and integrity: “That filthy quality… that lack of loyalty. Travis really has that. He’s proven it.”

Travis Scott has not responded to the remarks.

Travis Scott Named Oakley’s First-Ever Chief Visionary

Rapper Joins Forces With Eyewear Brand To Blend Legacy & Innovation

Travis Scott has officially been appointed as the first-ever Chief Visionary for Oakley, marking a major move by the iconic eyewear brand as it looks to expand its cultural influence. A long-time fan of the brand, Scott will collaborate with Oakley in a multi-year partnership that promises to push creative boundaries.

Though details about the role remain vague, the Houston-born rapper and entrepreneur expressed his excitement in a statement: “I’m inspired by what people think can’t be done. It’s about pushing culture and reworking ideas to see how far they can go. Oakley’s design game is next level, and I had to be part of that.”

Oakley’s Global President, Caio Amato, echoed the enthusiasm, saying: “Travis Scott as our Chief Visionary—a title that speaks to creativity, belief, and purpose—is the start of a bold new chapter for Oakley.”

To commemorate the partnership, Oakley has already launched exclusive merchandise, including hoodies, t-shirts, and posters inspired by Scott’s aesthetic.

While making moves in fashion, Scott is also in the crosshairs of rap drama, with Pusha T recently taking lyrical aim at him on the Clipse’s new single “So Be It,” further fueling tensions following a perceived diss against Pharrell on Scott’s Utopia track “Meltdown.”

  • Sauce Walka Claims Travis Scott Avoids Collaborating with Houston Legends Due to Past Treatment

Sauce Walka Claims Travis Scott Avoids Collaborating with Houston Legends Due to Past Treatment

Sauce speaks on Houston’s Influence and the Disconnect Between Travis Scott and OGs

Sauce Walka recently revealed why he believes Travis Scott has avoided working with Houston’s legendary artists. During an appearance on the One on One with Mike D podcast, Walka explained that Travis’ lack of collaboration with OGs in his hometown is rooted in how they treated him when he was coming up in the industry.

According to Walka, while Travis Scott has made a name for himself, particularly with hits referencing Houston’s culture, he hasn’t worked with many of the city’s iconic rappers. “Travis Scott don’t got no songs with no OGs in Houston,” Walka said, implying that the rapper harbors resentment due to how he was treated during his early days in the industry.

Walka went on to point out that he, along with Maxo Kream, are the only artists with songs featuring both Travis and Megan Thee Stallion. He believes that if Houston had embraced them more, they could have been on equal footing with Travis and Megan in terms of industry influence. He also emphasized that Travis has used Houston-based samples, acknowledging their cultural value, but hasn’t extended the same collaborative efforts to its legends.

This isn’t the first time Sauce Walka has called out an artist for their lack of collaboration with Houston rappers. Earlier, he criticized Drake for similar reasons, questioning why the Toronto rapper hasn’t worked more with artists from H-Town despite frequently referencing the city and owning property there. While Drake collaborates heavily with Atlanta rappers, Walka pointed out that Houston’s artists are often left out of the mix.

He called on artists to “uplift” the cities they claim to be influenced by, suggesting that there should be a fair exchange in collaborations that benefits the city’s music scene and economy. Sauce Walka’s remarks highlight frustrations with how Houston artists are perceived and treated in the broader hip-hop community.

Victory Boyd Sues Travis Scott, SZA, Future Over Alleged Song Theft in ‘Telekinesis’

Victory Boyd is suing Travis Scott, SZA, and Future over alleged song theft in ‘Telekinesis’

Roc Nation artist Victory Boyd brings charges of infringement of copyrights against Travis Scott, SZA, Future, and other credited writers of “Telekinesis,” which, though not credited so, has used part of Boyd’s song “Like The Way It Sounds” recorded and released in 2019. As Allhiphop reported, the federal lawsuit was filed in New York on 8th January and accuses Scott and all who helped him write that our song contains elements easily recognizable as rip-offs of this hook.

Boyd said she initially played “Like The Way It Sounds” to Kanye West in November 2019. She has accused West, who is not named in the suit, of playing the song for Scott, who allegedly passed it to Future and SZA. According to Boyd, the resulting track includes lines borrowed from her song.

Further, in the lawsuit, OctaED, Vega, and Boyd also include luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet as defendants, claiming that the company used “Telekinesis” in the ads campaign with Boyd, though she declined the offer. Boyd also notes that her name is on Spotify as the song’s composer, which she alleges Spotify added without her consent. Additionally, Boyd says she was recently given eight percent of the song’s ownership, which she declined.
