Westside Gunn is hard at work cooking up new music. The Grieselda member recently took to Instagram to reveal that a new album, Still Praying, is on the horizon. ““STILL PRAYING” COMING SOON [goat emoji, scorpion emoji, scales emoji] @griseldarecords,” he wrote, before confirming the project to be a full album in the comments.
From the title, the body of work could be a sequel to previously released albums Pray For Paris and And Then You Pray For Me. Gunn is also working on two other projects: Michelle Records as well as Flygod Is An Awesome God (Trillogy).

The Griselda earned their first gold certification this week after Benny The Butcher and J. Cole’s “Johny P’s Caddy” sold over 500K units in the US, but many fans were surprised that this is their first ever RIAA palque. Westside Boogie came to the group’s defense via Twitter on Thursday (April 13), urging fans to show tangible support by streaming their music, however, he did point out that he “never did it for” numbers.
“It’s krazy how everybody keep saying “Damn that’s y’all first gold plaque” YEA NIGGA go Fuckin play our shit allday like the suckas play that bs &run the #s up that just shows u how much support y’all really could be doing more 🤷🏽♂️ but I never did it for that so I still love u all,” Westside Gunn wrote.

Earlier on, Benny The Butcher had also shared his reaction to the gold plaque on Twitter, writing: “No hook no trap beat and off an independent label if I’m not top three in yall beloved boom bap genre then who is 🤷🏾 Griselda is the illest.”

DMX’s long-time friend and collaborator, Swizz Beatz, has shared the tracklist for the late rapper’s first posthumous album, Exodus. Taking to Instagram on Friday (May 14), Swizz also unveiled the back cover for the album, set to be released on May 28, which will be on a Friday.
The tracklist features 13 songs with plenty of guest appearances like The LOX, Snoop Dogg, Nas, JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Griselda, Moneybagg Yo, and U2’s Bono. The features are spread all through the tracklist except on “Exodus Skit” and the closing track, “Prayer.”
Swizz posted the album update shortly after he held a listening party with a select few on a Zoom call. During the call, Swizz opened up about X’s perspective towards the album. “This project meant a lot to him,” He shared with the roughly 200 people on the call. “It was something he showed up to do and couldn’t wait for people to hear. It was a project he wanted the world to hear. We didn’t want to wait too long because he didn’t want to wait too long. The album’s name is Exodus, which he has across his neck and is on the album cover. It’s also his youngest son’s name.”
Keep an eye out as we will alert you when Exodus drops.
