    Famous Dex is happy to have finally won his battle against drug use. The Chicago-raised rapper recently caught up with TMZ at the LAX where he revealed that he’s been “drug clean” for 11 months now. He also added that he is working on Rich Forever 5, a project series he’s been dropping along with Rich The Kid and Jay Critch.

    “I’m not doing drugs no more, I’ve been drug clean for 11 months, I’m happy and healthy,” Dexter said. He also shared his excitement for the recent renewal of his deal with 300 Entertainment.

    “Keep God first and never forget where you come from,” he added after he was asked to offer a word of encouragement to people trying to change their lives. “Keep God first, never give up because we might give up but God don’t and stay humble.”

    Famous Dex has been teasing his comeback since he came out of prison and later rehab last year. Over the weekend, Dexter hopped on Instagram suggesting that he renewed his deal with 300 Entertainment for over 5M. “5.6m,” the Chicago rapper wrote before adding, “new deal today God is amazing #wavebros #300ent #richforevermusic.”

    Dexter signed with 300 Entertainment in 2016 after gaining traction with songs like “Drip From My Walk” and “Trippy.” Under 300 Ent., Dexter has released full length projects like Dex Meets Dexter, Rich Forever 4, and Diana.

    Over the years, Famous Dex has been battling drug addiction and has been in and out of jail. Last week, Dexter shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with a fan who is fighting Xanax addiction, and isn’t getting support from his girl. The Chicago-born rapper advised the person to seek help from professionals and God as well.

    “Hey dex im tryna stop the xans, and my girl just aint even holding it down and its hurting not gonna lie. Its like it dont even matter to her sorry if this comin off as lame i just dont know what to do.The withdrawl suck,” the fan wrote.

    In his response, Famous Dex wrote, “Bro plz go get help I did I know u can do if she no with u she against you keep god 1st man you got this I love you so much I hope u see this plz go get help it’s not late I did an I know u can god got you king plz go get help for you, your family, they need you man don’t give up yet there is still hope.”

    After recently teasing new music together, Rich Forever partners Rich The Kid, Famous Dex, and Jay Critch continue to hint at even a full-length project. On Wednesday (December 21), Rich shared a picture of him along with Dexter and Critch on Instagram, with the caption, “Rich Forever 5.”

    Famous Dex also shared the moment on his page while reminiscing about 2017, when they broke into the scene.

From the videos and photos on their Instagram pages, the three made new music together and possibly shot a video.

    Rapper Famous Dex is about to make his return with a new mixtape, Lost In Saturn, which drops Friday (November 11). The Chicago rapper took to Instagram on Friday (November 4) to reveal the cover and 11-song tracklist of the forthcoming project.

    Famous Dex is now out of jail

    Famous Dex was released from jail this week and according to TMZ, he headed straight to rehab. Shortly after the news broke, Dexter returned to Instagram with a photo of him at a designated smoking area. He captioned it, “Don’t believe the media,” adding, “#NewMusic.”

    On IG stories, he also shared a video of him dancing to an unreleased song writing, “Just chilling god is good.”

    The Chicago native has been in jail since June for violating protective orders that restrained him from coming close to his ex-girlfriend.
