Baby teased a potential joint project with Future and Thug

Lil Baby has hinted at an upcoming joint project with Future and Young Thug, allegedly to follow their recent collaboration “Dum, Dumb and Dumber” if such collaboration were to materialize.

During an episode of Spotify’s A Day in the Life series, Lil Baby revealed that the trio is already working on a joint tape, actually motivated by Young Thug when he was in prison. “Me and Future were working on a joint tape. We damn near got the joint tape done,” he said, explaining that Thug encouraged the collaboration while behind bars.

“Thug was like, ‘Aye, call Pluto. I want y’all to do a tape together,’” Lil Baby continued. “He damn near named the tape and everything-this was before he got out.” As it seems now that Thug is free from prison and has developed an interest in getting on the project, Lil Baby noted, “We already did 10 together.”

Aside from their collaboration, Lil Baby also mentioned that 4PF is currently readying a compilation album entitled, Can’t Be Fucked With. Aside from this, Baby is also working on his latest LP – WHAM, and its planned follow-up, Domonique. Expect everything big shortly.

  • Victory Boyd Sues Travis Scott, SZA, Future Over Alleged Song Theft in ‘Telekinesis’

Victory Boyd Sues Travis Scott, SZA, Future Over Alleged Song Theft in ‘Telekinesis’

Victory Boyd is suing Travis Scott, SZA, and Future over alleged song theft in ‘Telekinesis’

Roc Nation artist Victory Boyd brings charges of infringement of copyrights against Travis Scott, SZA, Future, and other credited writers of “Telekinesis,” which, though not credited so, has used part of Boyd’s song “Like The Way It Sounds” recorded and released in 2019. As Allhiphop reported, the federal lawsuit was filed in New York on 8th January and accuses Scott and all who helped him write that our song contains elements easily recognizable as rip-offs of this hook.

Boyd said she initially played “Like The Way It Sounds” to Kanye West in November 2019. She has accused West, who is not named in the suit, of playing the song for Scott, who allegedly passed it to Future and SZA. According to Boyd, the resulting track includes lines borrowed from her song.

Further, in the lawsuit, OctaED, Vega, and Boyd also include luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet as defendants, claiming that the company used “Telekinesis” in the ads campaign with Boyd, though she declined the offer. Boyd also notes that her name is on Spotify as the song’s composer, which she alleges Spotify added without her consent. Additionally, Boyd says she was recently given eight percent of the song’s ownership, which she declined.

Metro Boomin Explains Why He ‘Regrets’ Twitter Criticism of Drake

Metro Boomin and Future have been recognized by GQ as two of their Men of the Year, and an excerpt from their forthcoming profile was released by Elliott Wilson on November 20. The interview discussed how they were part of the Drake and Kendrick feud, with Metro having a courageous opinion against Drake in the heat of the feud. Metro explains that he regrets doing it because he now feels out of character about having to return the fire on social media after being dissed on a record by Drake.

“Now I did have my moment online, which I do regret. I should have been stronger than that. That was out of character for me,” Metro admitted. “So you’re going to just sh*t on me on all of these songs,” he told GQ. “I’m not going to get in the booth, so I’m finna tweet at you.”

Future Finally Breaks Silence on Drake & Kendrick Lamar Feud, Expresses Confusion Over ‘Like That’ Diss’

Future addresses Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud, expressing confusion over the “Like That” diss

Future has finally opened up about the animosity between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, telling once and for all that he had some positions he had kept to himself.

In a GQ interview with Metro Boomin, Future oriented the narrative of the clash between his fellow rappers, mockingly stating that he wasn’t even aware of the existing feud.

The rapper reasoned that he was still “a little puzzled” by Kendrick’s lyric in ‘Like That’ — ‘Muthafuck the Big Three, n-gga, it’s just Big Me’ — which did elicit reactions from Drake and J. Cole, who are both identified together with Kendrick under the ‘Big Three’ nomenclature.

Future stated that in such a discussion, he ought to have been the angriest person there. “I’m supposed to be the one who gets mad; I’m still confused about that,” he said. “Nobody cares what I think. That’s what was so fucked up about the shit. To the point where I’m so player that I ain’t even said anything about how I feel about it.

“Like, why is everybody mad when he was talking about me on my song? So y’all just forgot about me, I ain’t part of this Big Three, I’m nobody on my song, man,” he added with “faux self-depreciation,” according to the interviewer.

“If I didn’t get mad, nobody should have gotten mad! If I would have been really mad about it and I made something out of it, then someone else could be like, Oh, I can make something else about it.”
Summing up Future told that if he did not get angry no one else was expected to. “If I didn’t get mad, nobody should have gotten mad! If I would have been really mad about it and I made something out of it, then somebody could like, Ooh, I can make something else out of it.”
