    Durk faces lawsuit over Duck’s death

    Lil Durk, the estate of King Von, their OTF label, and affiliate record companies and distributors have been dragged into a lawsuit by Duck’s mother, LaSheena Weekly, and two bystanders who suffered injuries due to the shooting, alleging that they played a role in the murder of FBG Duck and in profiting from its glorification, according to NBC 5 Chicago.

    The lawsuit, filed on Wednesday (09th October) in Cook County Circuit Court, Illinois, also cites a 2023 allegation that King Von allegedly put a $100,000 bounty on Duck. The lawsuit further accuses Durk, as Von’s OTF label head, of being complicit in the alleged bounty.

    Quando Rondo opens up about his coexistence with fans since King Von’s shooting. The Savanah rapper admits the obvious fact that some people don’t have much love for him because of the incident.

    “Our fans are not going to be the same,” Quando recently said in an interview on No Jumper. “So, I feel like everybody who is against me because of a past situation, I don’t give a f**k about them because they never been my fans from the get-go.”

    “I don’t even want to talk about that,” he continued when asked to expound on the situation. “When God call your a*s home you got to go, brother.”

    King Von was shot to death in 2020 by Quando’s associate Lul Tim after getting into a fight with the “Give Me A Sign” rapper outside a club in Atlanta.

    King Von’s team is looking forward to keeping the late rapper’s spirit alive by rolling out more posthumous music. On Tuesday (June 20), Von’s team took to his Instagram page to announce a new single, “Robberies,” dropping this Friday, while revealing the cover art.

    In January, the late Chicago rapper’s manager 100K revealed that they are putting together Von’s next posthumous album that is dropping this year. He went on to ask for title suggestions from fans. “Yup it’s that time again @kingvonfrmdao ?/?/23 Album Ready @nima_empire @ghazi @empire @otf @_gbg_gbg_ @100kmgmt @__tmac__1 @_djbandz – what would von name it though,” he wrote.

    Von’s first posthumous album, What It Means to be King, was released in March 2022.

    Durk has mechanisms of battling his pain

    Lil Durk has lost a number of his loved albums over the years with the recent ones being King Von, his brother DThang and OTF Chino. Recently chatting with XXL, the 7220 hit-maker explained how he deals with the losses.

    He revealed that he keeps chasing the dreams of his deceased loved ones in order to fulfill their wishes. “Just kids and all our goals. My brother goals, do this. Von goals, do this. Chino goals. So, I used all our goals. I feel like if I stop, or do some dumbass s**t, it’s like they passed for nothing.”

    Von’s team is dropping his first album since his passing

    King Von’s management 100K Track announced Sunday (January 22) that the rapper’s first posthumous album drops this year. The project will serve as Von’s third studio release and follows up his 2020 album, Welcome To O’Block, which dropped days before he was fatally shot in Atlanta.

    “Yup it’s that time again @kingvonfrmdao ?/?/23 🫶🏾 Album Ready @nima_empire @ghazi @empire @otf @_gbg_gbg_ @100kmgmt @__tmac__1 @_djbandz – what would von name it though,” 100K wrote on Instagram.

    While speaking to DJ Vlad in early 2021, Von’s former manager Track revealed that the LeVon James artist had 200-300 unreleased songs at the time of his death. “Just going through my notes, I found a hundred songs, not released,”he said. “‘Ay Track, check this out. Ay bro, what you think about this verse? What you think about this hook?’ One day, I went, I said, ‘Let me really see how much songs this man really had’. Man got over 200 or 300 songs.”

    FBG Duck’s mother LaSheena Weekly makes some serious accusations against the late King Von. In a clip that recently made rounds on social media, Duck’s mom claims there are rumors that Von killed Boss Trell with the helping hand of his deceased friend, T. Roy. However, she did admit that the reports are unconfirmed.

    “Von allegedly killed Trell, him and T. Roy,” Weekly said. “Only the streets know and only the people who did it know, so that’s why I’m saying ‘allegedly’. November the 6th, my nephew made a post and he said: ‘I’m tired of this gang banging s**t…’ one of them posts he said. But the fact he said that November the 6th, this man allegedly killed him on the 8th, and then died seven years later, eight years later on the day that one of the people he killed made a post. I’m spiritual with this s**t, okay? And once we gone, we gone.”

    FBI claims Von offered six figures reward for Duck’s murder

    As investigations in the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper FBG Duck continue, new reports claim the late King Von was involved in the killing. According to unconfirmed documents revealed by Chicago Scene 88, FBI says they have an unnamed witness who claims that Von initially put $50K bounty on Duck’s head, but later raised it to $100K.

    The witness adds that the “Welcome To O’Block” rapper rejoiced the murder by copping O’Block chains for his entourage. Investigators say the witness names Marcus “Muwop” Smart and others as the triggermen.

    Youngboy insists he doesn’t condone violence anymore

    NBA Youngboy mobbed up with his Never Broke Again signee Quando Rondo last Friday on their collab project 3860, but not without some controversy. Quando appeared to be dissing the late King Von and his sister on the song “Want Me Dead.”

    Youngboy explained on Instagram Friday (November 25) that he tried to stop Quando from releasing the mixtape because “that sh*t not sitting on top of my heart right.” He added that “these people” condone evil and “don’t give a f*ck about us.”

    “I had to tell quando don’t nobody case as long they making a dollars off you,” YB wrote on Instagram stories. “I’ve begged for that tape to not be Released and quando respected my wishes.”

    “I talk to missionaries everyday inside my home who probably gone ask me about that tape,” he continued. “That sh*t not sitting on top of my heart right but just pay attention to what these people promote they are evil and don’t give a f*ck about us.”


    “I’m trying to tell you n*ggas terrified of me boy the internet fooling you,” the 23-year-old continued, before emphasizing that he’s against violence. “I don’t play that sh*t in no type of way that’s why I’m just gon stay out the way I see you trying to do some provoking.”

    He concluded, “Stop playing with me son you ain’t strong enough.”
