Rolling Loud added to the hype on X (formerly Twitter), revealing, “CARTI JUST PLAYED US SOME NEW MUSIC ON FACETIME. IAM MUSIC IS COMING,” while hinting at tracks like “RL00” and “00RLYVL FR.”
Playboi Carti has indeed made noise with this roll-out of his album. After that uneventful release of “All Red,” he went incommunicado after its tease earlier this September, only to pop in again now on Instagram. His account was briefly shut down, but on November 21, Carti returned with a bang, dropping a snippet of a track tentatively titled “Play This.” And this snippet alone wouldn’t have satisfied fans; it was Carti’s comments that got everyone hyped.
Per Billboard, he told everyone watching that more music is indeed forthcoming, saying in a comment under his snippet that he’s not done.
