    Other tracks from Posty that have earned the status include “White Iverson,” “Congratulations,” “I Fall Apart,” “rockstar,” “Psycho,” “Better Now,” “Circles,” as well as “Sunflower” which is certified 2x diamond.

    Post delivered “Wow” in 2019 as the lead single for his third album, Hollywood’s Bleeding. It debuted at No. 47 and later peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

    Post Malone and Swae Lee’s blockbuster record “Sunflower” is now the first single ever to earn 2× diamond certification from RIAA after selling 20m units in the US.

    Produced by Carter Lang and Louis Bell, the track dropped in October 2018 as a single from the soundtrack of the animated film, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse. The record later appeared on Posty’s 2019 album, Hollywood’s Bleeding.

    It debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later peaked at No. 1. It remained in the Top 10 for 33 weeks.

    Post Malone admits he is a big fan of mushrooms, but he’s cut down the level of use these days. Recently speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Posty explained that ‘shrooms have been messing with his short term-memory, prompting him to slow his habit down.

    “Yeah, I take shrooms,” the Texas rapper said. “I like shrooms. I like shrooms. Not as much as I used to. It’s really affected my short-term memory. Maybe it was just a stint of habitual overuse. Daily. But now I take a little bar of chocolate with my buddies, a little square chocolate and just laugh and laugh and laugh.”

    Post Malone added that a buddy of his who was in the military told him that ‘shrooms are being used to treat PTSD.

    “I was talking to a ranger buddy of mine,” he recalled. “He was a ranger and he was saying they’re giving it to guys for PTSD and stuff. And I was like, oh that’s cool because a lot of the times, a lot of pharmaceuticals, they have negative reactions often. And it’s cool to see that they’re giving them this medicine and it’s actually working. He was saying his buddy was going through it and it really helped him a lot. I don’t know. It’s interesting because it’s improved. It has improved my view on things.”

    Post Malone achieves a new status on Spotify with his album Stoney. According to Chart Data, all 18 songs (including bonus tracks) on Posty’s debut album have now earned over 100M streams each on Spotify.

    The album was released in 2016 and opened at No. 6 on Billboard 200 after selling 58K equivalent album units in the first week of release. 19K of these units were pure album sales. The project spawned some of Posty’s biggest career hits like “Congratulations,” “White Iverson,” “I Fall Apart,” and “Go Flex.”

    Post Malone makes it clear that he is not using drugs and his weight loss is due to a healthy lifestyle. On Friday (April 28), the rapper cleared the air about his weight loss, revealing that “dad life” has encouraged him to pursue a healthy way of life.

    “[I] wanted to say that i’m not doing drugs,” he wrote on Instagram stories. “[I]’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i’d suppose, performance on stage. i’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier. i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel.

    “[M]y brain is in a super dope place, and i’m the happiest i’ve been in a long time,” Posty added. “[I]f you’re having a hard time or need some love, i can say that you’re loved more than you know, and keep fucking crushing it.”

    Posty legally goes after former landlord

    Post Malone is having problems with his former landlord and he is taking legal action. Per a report by Radar Online, via his company Posty Touring, the “I Like You” hit-maker is suing DK Development for failing to return part of a $400K security deposit he paid for a $26M property in Brentwood, California.

    In the suit, Posty recognizes that he owes the landlord some funds for electric bills as well as a couple of days he stayed beyond the agreement. Out of the whole deposit, the rapper requests $338K. “[Defendant] is improperly withholding at least $338,419.28,” the lawsuit states.

    “Defendant grossly overstated amounts of claimed damages, deducted for items that are plainly not deductible under the Lease of California law, and failed to provide supporting documentation of claimed damages for multiple requests.”

    Post Malone has broken a new record as he is now the artist with the most singles to be certified diamond in the history of Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Per Chart Data, Posty’s three singles: “I Fall Apart,” “Better Now,” and “Circles” were certified diamond last week after they each earned over 10M units across the US, bringing his total diamond singles to eight.

    Other songs by Posty with diamond status include: “Rockstar,” “Pyscho,” “Sunflower,” “Congratulations,” and “White Iverson.” Other artists with most diamond singles include Bruno Mars who has six under his belt, followed by Drake and The Weeknd who tie with five each.

    Metro Boomin teased a collaboration with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie this week when he shared a picture of himself in a black Spider-Man suit on Instagram. According to HipHopDx, following the release of the official trailer on Tuesday (December 13), co-writers and producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller confirmed during a YouTube Premium after-party that Metro will be making the theme song of the forthcoming movie that arrives June 2, 2023.

    The first installment of the film, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, was released in 2018 with Swae Lee & Post Malone’s “Sunflower” as the theme song. The record went diamond in 2021 and became the most certified song in RIAA history in November this year after going 17x platinum.
