    Yeat confirms ‘2093’ album drops February, teases new song with Future

    Yeat is delivering his new project this month Yeat isn’t about to slow as his career curve continues to rise. On Wednesday, (January 31), the Portland rapper announced on Instagram that his new album, 2093, will arrive in February.

    “2093ISCOMING……. 2.??.24,” he wrote under a series of photos with some including Childish Gambino and Drake, hinting at possible features.

    The 23-year-old also shared a snippet of a collab with Future, which is likely to appear on the project.

    Shmunky had originally planned to drop the project as a deluxe to his third studio album, Afterlyfe, which was released February 2023. He later decided to put together a full length album instead.

    Up-and-coming rapper Yeat has earned his first platinum singe with “Monëy So Big.” The single earned the certification from RIAA after selling over 1M copies in the US. The project is lifted from the Portland native’s debut album, Up 2 Më, released in 2021.

    Towards the end of 2021, the song became Yeat’s biggest hit passing records like “Gët Busy” and “Sorry About That.” The 23-year-old rapper released his third studio album, After Lyfe, on February 24 with a sole feature from NBA Youngboy.

    Yeat is working on new music

    Breakout rapper Yeat hints at a new project to drop somewhere in February 2023. The rapper shared an Instagram story post with the caption “2/?/2023.” Fans are assuming that the rapper is preparing to unleash Afterlyfe, a project that follows up his 2022 EP Lyfe.

    Lyfe was released in September as Yeat’s sixth extended play via Geffen Records, Field Trip and Twizzy Rich, with a sole feature from Lil Uzi Vert.

    The mini-project opened at No. 10 on Billboard 200 with 30K equivalent album units earned in the first week. It garnered 40.1M on-demand streams in that week.

    NBA Youngboy’s latest effort opens at No. 6 on Billboard 200

    Louisiana rapper NBA Youngboy delivered his sixth project of the year, Ma’ I Got A Family, on October 21, and now the first week sales are in.

    Per a report by HITsDD, the project debuts at No. 6 this week after scoring 39k unit sales. Earlier this week, the tape was projected to sell 36k units. The project had Nicki Minaj and Yeat as the only guest contributors.

    Youngboy’s last project, 3800 Degrees, occupied the 12th position on the charts after selling 24k units in the first week.

    NBA Youngboy drops a new project on his birthday

    Louisiana rapper NBA Youngboy celebrated his 23rd birthday on Friday (October 20) with a new DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, Ma’ I Got A Family (A Gangsta Grillz Special Edition), hosted by mixtape legend DJ Drama. It is the rapper’s 21st mixtape and was released through Never Broke Again, LLC, and Atlantic Records.

    The project spawns 19 songs with only two features from Nicki Minaj and breakout artist Yeat. The title is a message to the multi-platinum rapper’s mother Sheronda Gaulden, letting her know he is raising a family. The cover art portrays YB and his fiancé Jazlyn Mychelle holding their two kids.

    The new project is Youngboy’s sixth project of the year, and the second of the month since he dropped 3800 Degrees on October 7.

    Yeat is gearing up to release his sophomore album, Lyfe, on Friday but until then, he shares the official tracklist.

    The California native posted the 12-song tracklist on Instagram story with sole guest appearance from Lil Uzi Vert.

    The rapper was also recently seen shooting a music video with Cole Bennett.

    Yeat gained popularity in 2021 after going viral with hits like “Get Busy,” “Twizzy Rich,” “Money So Big,” and “Poppin’.”

    His debut album, Up 2 Me, was released last September via Interscope & Twizzy Rich. It earned the 22-year old his first Billboard 200 entry landing at #183 after four months of release.
